Vyr: The Shield of Faith

Vyr was found as a baby on the doorstep of the Church of Yulia and raised in reverence of Vet, the Goddess of Life. He learned about the sacred balance of life and the importance of preserving it. Despite being quiet and well-mannered, he was often bullied by other children for being different. His only comfort was Mother Patina, a gnomish sect leader who always made time for him. Once he was old enough, Vyr embarked on a pilgrimage to spread Vet's light, although he often got lost due to his lack of direction.

During his travels, Vyr met a group of adventurers in Seafleet, a floating city made of interconnected ships. Joining their mission to return a sacred artifact, Vyr faced many hardships and losses but felt he had found a home. The group, despite teasing him, cared about him, even though his sense of justice sometimes caused trouble. After losing some companions, Vyr and his remaining allies formed Deus Yeagers. With the Sun God Il'von destabilizing the balance of power, Vyr, supported by the Goddesses Vet and Estara, is determined to restore balance. Unbeknownst to him, Vyr is an aasimar banished at birth by the Sun God's court.
